KONIX WARRANTY

KONIX provides a nontransferable warranty to the buyers of KONIX hardware products purchased from one of our authorized resellers. KONIX thereby guarantees that this product is free from defects in materials and workmanship for a specific period of time from the date of purchase. The warranty period depends on the product: two years for high-tech products and three years for console and PC gaming products.

To exercise your rights under the warranty, you must present a sales receipt and provide the serial number of the product.

In general, this warranty implies that your KONIX hardware product will work as specified in the technical specifications provided in the manual provided, and within the operating environment for which the product was designed, for the duration of the warranty period.

CLAIMS

KONIX’s entire liability and your sole recourse for any KONIX product that does not work according to its technical specifications is at KONIX’s discretion. This warranty obligation is conditional to the product being returned to the original place of purchase with the original purchase receipt. You may be required to pay shipping and handling fees, as well as other applicable fees such as duties, taxes, or customs duties. KONIX may, at its discretion, offer new or refurbished components.

All replacement products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty or for thirty (30) days – whichever is longer – or for the duration required by local regulations.

OBSOLETE AND DISCONTINUED PRODUCTS

Obsolete products and discontinued products are replaced by the same product if available. If KONIX is unable to replace your obsolete or discontinued product with the same product, KONIX will replace it, at its sole discretion, with a product of similar function and performance.

EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not cover issues or damage resulting from, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Wear associated with normal use
  • Serial number label, manufacturer’s model, or reference number label missing, damaged, or illegible.
  • Any improper use, including any use that is inconsistent with the instructions provided with the product
  • Any abuse, modification, accident, disassembly, misuse, or unauthorized repair
  • Connection to a power supply with an inadequate voltage
  • Any other cause not related to a product defect, with regard to both materials and manufacturing

Also excluded from this warranty are counterfeit products; that is, products that KONIX, in its sole discretion, identifies as not being manufactured either by KONIX or by its authorized manufacturing partners.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

KONIX shall not be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, losses (direct or indirect) of profits, income or data, and business losses related to the breach of any express or implied warranty with respect to the product, even if the possibility of such damages had been previously reported to Konix. Some local laws do not allow the exclusion or limitation of special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply in your jurisdiction.

EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES

If allowed by applicable local regulations, any implied warranty or condition of value or suitability for a particular purpose defined for this material product is expressly excluded. Some local laws do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply in your jurisdiction.

DATA RECOVERY

In the event of data loss while using KONIX storage devices, KONIX shall not be liable for the backup or recovery of any data you may have lost.

NO OTHER WARRANTY

No agent, reseller, or employee of KONIX is authorized to modify, extend, or add to this warranty.

WARRANTY CLAIMS

Before submitting a warranty claim to the dealer where you purchased your product, we suggest that you consult the FAQ section of our website for a list of the most frequently asked questions. You are likely to find the solution to your problem there.

PRODUCT RETURNS

KONIX does not accept returns. To exercise your rights under the warranty, you must present a sales receipt and provide the serial number of the product in question to the authorized KONIX reseller where the product was purchased.

KONIX WARRANTY PERIOD

All KONIX products for gaming consoles and PC are guaranteed for 3 years from the date of purchase.

With regard to KONIX products other than gaming products, they are guaranteed for 2 years from the date of purchase.
