KONIX CSR COMMITMENTS
Corporate Social Responsibility, also known as “CSR” is defined by the European Commission as the voluntary integration by companies of social and environmental concerns into their business activities and their relations with stakeholders.
In other words, CSR is the contribution of companies to sustainable development issues.
A company that practices CSR will therefore seek to have a positive impact on society while being economically viable.

What is FSC?
Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) is a non-governmental organization created in 1993, one year after the Rio Earth Summit, by a group of companies, environmental associations (including WWF) and social rights representatives. Its mission is to create and promote an independent and efficient certification system in all types of forests (boreal, tropical and temperate). A regular control of the certified forests and companies by an independent third party guarantees the application of responsible management specifications. By being promoted by a demanding label, the values of forests are better shared and preserved.
